Studio 22A

Volume 1: Beginnings

So….the album ideas from the last post are now on their way to becoming an album!! Who would have thought this would have taken 6 days to work itself out.

Notations of a Soul - Volume 1 is officially in the works.

Now……this is a completely experimental and experiential album where I collaborate with Indraneel Hariharan (@bassneel73) on the bass while he produces it as well. It’s been a lot of conversations on how we plan to execute this and we finally decided to go ahead and start recording volume 1 (4 Tracks) over 3 to 4 sessions.

Now comes the tricky part. This is a low/no budget album. So no fancy studios. Time to figure our very own studio and see where that takes us.

So we decided to take my living room and turn it into a make-shift studio - Studio 22A and record the instruments live.

Now time to let the music do the talking over the next couple of weeks or so, while we explore what’s ahead of us.
